FWIW i also watched about 20 minutes yesterday when Chuck was on track, and in all that time he did not once open his DRS. Another reason why the variability in the set uip of these cars just makes lap time comparison pointless.

It makes sense for Ferrari to focus on race trim given that they had a pretty decent qualy car last year.
They're not. It was established last year that while the direction Ferrari went in was the most obvious solution to the regulations, they went down a blind alley because they couldn't get the wing to generate as much downforce as that of other teams.
Ferrari, Alfa, Williams, Alpha Tauri, McLaren and Haas must be screwed then. RB, RP and Merc are somewhere in the middle. Only Renault has a proper outboard loaded FW as of right now.

None of the cars from this hybrid era are good looking! We haven't seen a really good looking F1 car in a very long time, actually.FrukostScones wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 7:25 pmnot the best view of this carSevach wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 6:38 pmhttps://imgr1.auto-motor-und-sport.de/S ... 671811.jpg

I noticed them hovering around 290kph down the main straight during Vettel's earlier runs in the afternoon, until his run on the C5(?) in the afternoon which he hit 305kph if I recall correctly. Definitely seemed like they were running lower power settings in the afternoon, at least from my armchair.
that is a beautiful shot of in this angle a beautiful car. would be even better with a 'sharper' nose (ala RS20). But great shot and i like the redness here.
