@Juzh waiting for Hamilton's lap with telemetry. Turn 4 and 11 will be great =P~
Pole T4 won't be that crazy. I think it was 254km/h from the Halo hud. I remember in the live speed of Russel's 1st Q2 lap it was 256km/h.

T11 was quite special. Ferrari almost took it flat in Q3.

W11 around silverstone is going to be a beast!!!!!
And Spa and probably Mugello and Imola too...wish we were racing in Suzuka this year..

Absolutely, might get a chance to see next year though, although they are clipping downforce I’m sure it’ll still be mighty....

They could still do Japan couldn’t they? Or have they definitely ruled it out?

I'm finding it quite amusing how the stroll critics are missing except for trying to rationalize how perez in race trim is going to be faster. Should be interesting race tomorrow between stroll and perez. Sometimes i think people forget stroll is only 21 and does not have the experience of perez. Enjoy.
I'll put my hand up and admit to being surprised at his performance so far this year. I expected Perez to hand him his balls on a plate.

I don’t think this helps.

Alexander Albon is “being made to look like an idiot” at Red Bull, according to rival and close friend George Williams.

I must have missed that one who is he?

That headline is far out of context. Albon is just not happy with the, admittedly, very poor balance of the RB16 at this track. That's all. Therefore he couldn't drive it very well. Russell is just reiterating that he thinks Albon is a fast guy.

Stroll is a very good driver. He got that podium in Baku. I'm surprised people don't think he is terribly good!?

He had a few crashes in his very first races at Williams, but that was years ago now! Stroll has become very consistent and a safe pair of hands IMO. Consistently proving to be a very good racer. =D>

A huge shout out to Russell. What a performance! He is growing in confidence and taking that Williams to places that it was hard to imagine!

Russell with a Williams, ahead of Albon in a Red Bull.. Which parallel universe is this

Btw, everyone's hyped about Russell, but the revelation of the season so far has been Norris imo. He beat Sainz again who is Ferrari bound and is up 2-1 against him.

I think he has always been seen as the wooden personality loaded pay driver whose daddy bought a racing team. At least that's how I see him anyway.

Objectively though, and taking into consideration his age, he is clearly a decent driver and he keeps growing so maybe there's more to come from him.

Are you really excited from it? Another boring qualifications and races with double Mercedes with 1s ahead of the rest? Yaaawn.

Russell and Stroll (small credit to Vettel getting it done better than Leclerc again?) were my stars of qualifying, though of course Hamilton did a fine job too, but that car was so much faster, he only had his teammate to worry about, a bit, and we expect it of him. Also interesting how much faster that track got halfway through Q2, hadn't expected such a jump in lap record as we got.

On Stroll, he's a star not just because that 2nd row, as clearly the car is good, but it is a bit surprising how well he does this year because unless it rained, so far he has always had a clear ~0,3s disadvantage to his teammates in qualifying. Now, Racing Point already said they asked him to work on that, and clearly he did, and/or this very good car gives him enough confidence to do as well as he tends to do in the rain (well, apart from last weekend, but compared to Perez bombing out there, let's say that was the car holding him back).

An Russell, well clearly, that was a great lap (which he couldn't quite repeat). Now, the Williams too is a much better car (spare a thought for Kubica, now in a car which has been worse in the weekend he got it than the car he drove last year!) here, as is shown by Latifi, but if that car has a snif of Q2 this year, we can be quite sure Russell can get it there.

I’m excited about it... Not a Mercedes fan, but nothing wrong about getting excited to watch what could arguably be the best car in F1 history... As exciting for me as watching the MP4/4 in 1988
