Max really is the best driver on the grid bar none. Beating the all conquering Mercs is a much slower car. Look where his team mate was. His DNF in Austria is really going to haunt them because without it, he would be 13 points off the championship lead in a car that has no right winning races with those 2 Mercs.

Verstappen P1 read it and weep
Way to go Red Bull - Honda =D>

Step softer tyres everywhere and higher pressures might be a 'sporting regulation' (i.e., political) change for Liberty to consider perhaps.
It will only help in such races as a surprise for Merc
Otherwise they will easily adapt to the situation

S'funny how people are suddenly happy to see tyres that fall apart when only recently they were saying how rubbish the tyres are. because they fall apart.

Can you believe people say the mercedes is the dominant car?! Hah. Jokers.

This is why Toto does not count his chickens before they hatch.
Nice comedy you've just written there. Lets instantly forget all previous results and -1s in quali. Lets also forget how cheese tyres were sole factor responsible for them losing this race.
As soon as we're back to just vaguely competent tyre selection they'll be back to cruising 10s ahead of Max.

Nice of pirelli to prevent a season clean sweep, but now please back to regular compound selection.

I didn't comment on the poor qualifying
And that has nothing to do with what he accomplished during the race. Should he be closer to Max and the Nerds with that car? Sure! But from where he started was, in my opinion, a good race! With great moves!
And hence my first comment!
"Wow the standards are pretty low for him i see" :?
Well, I rate him higher than what he's achieving but I think is not getting the car suiting his needs. And after the qualifying performance I wasn't really expecting much from his race.
In that sense you are absolutely right

But they don't fall apart at all, Red Bull had perfect tyre condition. They only fell apart on some badly engineered cars, cars without the Pierre Wache Red Bull chief suspension engineer tyre whispering witchcraft. :D

The same tyre pressures were run during the race simulations on Friday and Mercedes had the pace, it was the extreme heat today which had the biggest effect which nobody can control #-o

Badly engineered cars that have won 4 of the 5 races and 6 double world championships, while the car that won today has been sitting there waiting to pick up scraps!

Just read the thread. People are expressing happiness that the tyres were falling apart for some cars and wishing for the same for the rest of the season.

Enough hating and looking for a fight, please.

It is all perspective, if their favorite driver or the dominant team loses even with rock solid tyres or falling apart tyres, they will go for what suits their agenda, so :D

Why would Red Bull - Honda want or accept that politically? That is against their interests...

Exactly, only the badly engineered cars that work the tyres too hard. What's wrong with enjoying that!?

A big grin on Red Bull - Honda fans today. :D

Don't worry, they don't have to. They will still be beaten handsomely.
