A big, long straight, essentially 5 chicanes, mostly pretty fast, and 4 neck breaking corners, 2 right and 2 left.
Mercedes will pick up ENORMOUS time on the field in Turns 1, 8/9, 12, and 14. The neck breakers.
Still glad we are going to see what F1 looks like at Mugello.
8 & 9 are essentially flat for everyone, Mercedes won't gain any time, might lose some time actually, from Cassanova, all the way to turn 10.
The chicanes are interesting because the entry is shallower than the exit on the two critical ones. There really are only 3 chicanes on the whole track. After turn 1, before the fast right hand kink, and after the high speed flat out section.
Getting the braking right to set up the exit is very tricky. For turn 10, you're left side tires are about to melt off the wheel, and you have to torture them more on the entry for the chicane.
The first chicane it is very easy to brake way too late, but it's also easy to brake too soon. Very understeer corner and the exit as well.
