...I think it must be his wardrobe.
Take the bucket hat and stupid shoes away and I'd happily wear that.
To bed?

It's a well known fact that you cannot become a 7x WDC without eccentric fashion choices.

Very true.

at the point where Russell has managed to spoon in enough race and team points that he would not be able
to overtake him in the championship standings and as such loses his WDC chances.

in other words, he could step in by the last race if they want to, but it wouldnt make no sense.

Does Lewis need a contract to drive ? Obviously it would mean he's not getting paid, but technically does he need a contract ?

I would think you could even sign the contract just before fp1, no?

No contract is required to drive an F1 car in a race. That’s purely and agreement between a driver and a team

He is already on the FIA official entry list

It would be funny if he ended up doing the season contract-free. No money from the team (but plenty from his own sponsors) and no PR requirements either. Just turn up, drive, go home. Every driver's dream!

The SHOES are what you think are stupid about that outfit?! They are the most normal thing he's wearing/doing for an adult male in that photo.

I think the Hamilton and Schumacher photos just demonstrate that Brits and Germans can't dress well even with a huge bank balance.

I get that. I’m just saying technically the agreement can be signed whenever

Are you sure? There has to be some sort of agreement to establish responsibilities, for example in case of the accident or other mishap.
