Are we expecting same sort of weather, with high temperatures throughout the weekend?
There has been some talk of a significant chance of rain. That could mix things up. Maybe McLaren should gamble on a wet weather setup on one of the cars and try to snatch a podium, maybe even win, as I doubt Merc or RBR would be in a position to risk that.
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

doesn't a wet weather setup pretty much just involve bolting on downforce? Because they’re doing that anyway

Higher ride height as well, which means bad handling in dry conditions.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

I would say wait for Qualifying as I don't think Mclaren shows their pace even in FP3.

checking sectors Lando was about 3 tenths down all in first sector, whilst Daniel did a first sector about 3 tenths faster, where Lando has had about 2 tenths on him on throughout the first sector in all the practice sessions... so I would say they have engine turned down on Lando's car... so maybe about 3-4 tenths to still in first sector

Could be different setups though. I hope they find a bit more. Having both Ferrari's ahead wouldn't be too nice.

yeah I mean the mediums runs before the quali sim, Lando was up through the laps about 1-2 tenths in first sector each lap so not sure... but as we all know you can't predict anything with this sport haha always throwing curve balls

Well it's a long season and I don't think it matters much where we finish. If we finish 3rd on merit it's a good step up but if we manage to find loopholes that will create a beast of a car next season capable of challenging for the championship now that is gonna be a huge change in F1.

Not good so far. Hungaroring is like Monaco and it doesn't seem to suit our car.

Daniel is underperforming again. Is it possible that he might be underperforming all this year and he has to wait for the next car?

That was too close for comfort with Daniel… Both cars in Q2, but Daniel’s time is worrisome, it will be hard for him to get into Q3

Makes you wonder if he has a seat offer elsewhere for next year?
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

Please tell me this performance it's just an one time off? Tell me that next year we will see the real Daniel Ricciardo?I refuse to believe this fast driver forgot how to drive an F1 car.

Is Hungaroring full of slow corners? We seem to be having problems here like Monaco.

Lando and Daniel’s Qualifying plot… Lando brakes later and carries more speed than Daniel

You can't tell who brakes later from that. you can see that Ric is on the brakes longer or on the gas later. Yes Norris does carry more speed in the last 3 corners.
