He’ll never win in that. It only goes 88 mph….
It very much reminds me of the saying ‘close the stable door after the horse has bolted’!politburo wrote: ↑29 Aug 2021, 17:28It's quite perplexing, one can only wonder what they were waiting 2 hours for, especially since they had a good indicator that the rain could be ramping up - maybe the need a unanimous vote?. If they were really to err on the side of caution this is what they should've done and by this I mean your suggestion.El Scorchio wrote: ↑29 Aug 2021, 17:20Why the hell didn’t they stop the three hours after one hour so they still had the option of a full race distance if the weather improved? Idiots.
So what happened there? I didn't understand that message. So the race might be on at even 18:00?El Scorchio wrote: ↑29 Aug 2021, 17:20Why the hell didn’t they stop the three hours after one hour so they still had the option of a full race distance if the weather improved? Idiots.
Unless it has a different engine in it, it was a V8 in the 191PlatinumZealot wrote: ↑29 Aug 2021, 17:35Those watching Sky... That Jordan sounded awesome. Screw this turbo hybrid rubbish. Bring back the V10!!
Pirelli wets have been trash since the very beginning. No point trying to race when the tires can't deal with the water level. The tire design defect isn't a driver error.mzso wrote: ↑29 Aug 2021, 17:40So what happened there? I didn't understand that message. This whole charade is pathetic. There are rain tires but they wouldn't race. Because "ewww mist"...
As for aquaplaning, it's the driver's responsibility to judge the limits even if it's aquaplaning, so do so...
Its in the international regs...
Yes, I think so. So it can now start any time today but the three hours will also restart so we will only get an hour maximum of racing at the most- maybe less if light becomes a factor.mzso wrote: ↑29 Aug 2021, 17:40So what happened there?
