Mclaren 1-2 if both drivers can better string their laps together it seems.
Maybe they should sacrifice some race pace.

Yeah, Mclaren looking good, Why were they so much slower in the final sector comparred to Vettel in both FP1 & FP2 ? both cars both sessions.

Hamilton screwed up the last set of corners by shifting gear one time too many. Button on the other hand I don't know, I think the RedBulls are just really good through sector 3.

Hamilton messed up last sector in FP2, but the difference is remarkable. I hope they can improve.

It was.

Kimi in person is actually quite nice. I didn't talk to him tonight but was at a Lotus event (courtesy of the same buddy) yesterday night. He still speaks in that monotone voice, but he's willing to talk. I think it's just that he can't be bothered to talk to the media, rather than being demotivated. He doesn't like media commitments. But if you talk to him about the car, about driving, about racing, he's on it. THe voice belies him though. 2nd time I've met him - I'm quite sure I've described the first on these forums as well. He was I think still a Ferrari driver then, either in 2007 or 2008. I chased him down half the paddock length for his autograph. He kept looking back to see if I was still chasing, before finally stopping and letting me catch him. He then said, "I just wanted to see how bad you wanted it." while smiling. Great guy really (in person).

Both Mclarens looking quick, whereas only Vettel is really on it in the Bulls. It's gonna be between Hamilton and Vettel for pole, but if Button does another Spa lap then he could easily take it.

Any comments on the Red Bull long run pace? I haven't been able to watch any of free practice as I'm in holiday at the moment. Hoping to be home in time to catch the start on Sunday though!

I think it more had to do with DLR holding him up.

It will be HAM vs VET and BUT vs Mercedes.

Writing off Alonso at this moment would be dangerous. His race pace was pretty impressive.

i would not bet my money on it that is for sure :x - but i think, given that this is a street circuit and they may get their upgrades together, and also given that they were low down the ranks until qualy for monaco before coming in with all guns blazing in quali and schumi being on pole, that merc COULD have something this weekend

but, as i said, would not be betting on it

Sure but Singapore is more about Q speed.

If he does get through the field than it´s just a testament of him being considered the best driver right now.
But for me, i don´t see him higher then 3rd in Q and R.
It´s all guesses though but i try to make some form of F1-calculations ;)

Hamilton´s car looks soo good, Vettel will separate Ham and But.

I think I'm gonna go for Qually:
1. VET
2. HAM
3. BUT
4. ALO
5. WEB

Race:
1. HAM
2. VET
3. ALO
4. BUT
5. RAI

If it comes true, it certainly would make the championship exciting.

1. HAM
2. VET
3. BUT
4. ALO
5. MSC/ROS

reason i´m putting ALO in 4th is because of pure pace and then in the race, BUT and VET and notorious for tire management.
BUT has the advantage of unreal pit stops.
