The race is 3 stop at least, possibly 4. I expect MMMH as the optimal, but they may be pushed into MMHH if they're struggling, or even MMMHH.gray41 wrote:So will Mercedes split the drivers strategies maybe:
Lewis: M/M/H Or M/M/M/H

Just to mix things up, because one driver is always going to be a step behind if they take the same, the lead car will always get priority with the first stops if they are running close together and I doubt we're going to see a challenge from behind?
- That's very questionable Bahrain race logic. They shouldn't mix it just because but for optimum performance.Waywardism wrote:
I think it would be more like:

2nd car: MMH or MHM(M)
Point being that in Bahrain they made strats for whoever was leading and whoever was 2nd, not specific strats for Lewis and Nico. Seems the best way to go as no other teams can challenge them and they have no idea who will lead after the 1st turn.
How many laps is the race? Just because in fp2 Lewis did 12+ laps at 1:30.--- and 1:31.--- on the medium tyre.beelsebob wrote:The race is 3 stop at least, possibly 4. lol, you bias is interesting.slimfitcasual wrote:Can I just say how impressive Grosjean has been with hand he was delt. His quiet determination has been inspiring—where Vettel's whining and complaining has been utterly disappointing.
yeah, very stupid mistake by him today (sometimes it looks that he can't handle these complicated turbo power cars).mikeerfol wrote:Well it would be interesting to see what Maldonado would have done, but to finish (qualify) first, first you have to finish (qualify)
EDIT: The forecast for tomorrow is cloud with lower temperatures, maybe we will see something better from the McLarens?
