I'm hoping a wet race will be good for Alonso.

Funny you should say that. As recently as four years ago everybody was praising Hamilton as the rainmeister.

Spoke to the locals and checked the weather online...it looks to be a wet night race...its currently partly cloudy/lots of smog at the moment with mid/high humidity (then again its always humid in Singapore).

Storm showers due later today "apparently"
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

Highly doubt wed get a wet raining race. Most likely just a starts-wet-but-dries-out race a la Hungary/Silverstone 2011.

What I remember from living in that region when I was younger, is that the rain mostly comes during the day, not so much at night.

Yep. That's just about it. Night rain usually comes at midnight hours rather than around dinner time

Absolutely as a resident here I could almost certain that it will be a dry race given that the highest chances of getting rain is either during sunset hour or in the midnight

Yes, and they still do, but it's well known the MP4-27 is a disaster in the wet.

Yeah, it's not strange Maldonado and Grosjean don't know how to behave if you watch GP2.
