I don't buy the dirty air excuse personally. He overcooked it in sector 1 and paid for it immediately with the somewhat clumsy turn 6-7 combo nearly putting it in the wall trying to get out of T7.

Hadjar being there was just an easy excuse.

Mercedes had the best race pace on Friday in the sims and deg looks low. I don't anticipate too much movement in the top 10 over the race without a SC intervention.

Yes, but leclerc and hamilton fans are not ready for this conversation
I think he would be leading WDC by now. /s

They can contact him but WEC maybe
That man Alonso would've drag that car close to pole position every week
well, what do you think about today performance?

Leclerc had the best race pace in FP3 on C5.

I don’t think there’s much to read in FP’s, as everyone will find better balance come race day.

Alonso/Ant & to an extent Ham might be vulnerable in race pace. This gives a chance for Norris & Leclerc.

Not sure about tyre allocation. Russell/Max/Ant/Alonso completely used C5 I believe.
Piastri/Ham/Norris/Leclerc does have fresh set of C5

From P5 and P8 on the grid, they need to try something different - 2-stop or start on the hards - otherwise with similar pace to the others (maybe slower) and virtually no degradation, there won't be much movement.

Are you sure about this ? LeClerc was doing late 14s in his race sim in FP3, whilst the likes of Russel/Norris/Max were running the in the early to mid 16s in their race sims in FP2. There has to be a fuel load difference, the Ferrari is not a 1.2s faster car than the other three.

Leclerc had less fuel than the guys running on Friday, it was reported also by Marc Gené.

ferrari often does midfull race sim on fp3, so never take fp3 race pace into account

Charles feels comfortable in the car, the pace will be there. He just needs a good clean start and needs to be past Lewis before lap 10.

I also hope George keeps the lead till then so that Oscar/Max don’t run away with it before Charles makes some moves

Canada really suits Lewis and he is at a good position at the start, I am positive for him. It will be interesting to see how quickly Norris will move forward.

I have a feeling Leclerc will be in the wall at some stage in the race. His head does not seem fully in it this weekend. Maybe trying too hard or something.

Can say this and that, but Charles ballsed himself up yesterday, and Q in Barcelona. Needs to sort himself out, with errors creeping in. Ham a solid job. There will be opportunities tomorrow for both to come through.
Missing FP1, FP2 and still quicker in FP3, Q1, Q2 and got caught by the dirty air from Hadjar in Q3 (purple in S1) come on.
We know you're a fan of hamilton, but have a little objectivity.
I can bet, Charles still finish higher than Hamilton tomorrow.
We will see tomorrow. Enough with driver rivalry
Wonder what lap Lewis will be asked to let Charles by today.
