I'm not so sure. Hamilton already started trashtalk so the gloves are off. That was how it started between Hammi and Rosberg, was it not ?

I think that started because Hamilton had a chip in his shoulder about Rosberg growing up in Monaco while he was in the Stevenage slumsTizz wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 11:18 amI'm not so sure. Why do u think he was so pissed about it... As far as I can understand, they went against his advice and changed it and it was even worse for him. That's why he was wanted to talk to his team after the race.proteus wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 6:34 amIt is the seven time world champions job to tell the team what to change and what stays.siskue2005 wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 8:16 pmReally?V12-POWER wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 6:50 pm
the guy has always been like this, plays the role of a priest when he wins then at the slightest problem throws everything and everyone under the bus.
i guess he didn’t gather enough “blessings” and “energy” from his fans today lmao
yet it’s still better than bottas who gets awfully screwed up race by race and never calls out his team
How many races has he thrown his team under the bus? Could you list them? When has he done that at a slightest problem??
It looks like after fp3 the team over ride his decision and made changes to the car which left his car in very bad condition compared to Thursday.
Hamilton admitted that the team had failed to build on an encouraging practice day on Thursday, as changes to the set-up had sent it in completely the wrong direction when track action resumed on Saturday.
"There were lots of changes that we did in the car after FP3, because FP3 was a disaster," he said.
"And that's from the work that we've done in the last couple of days. It was completely the wrong direction, completely missed the ball.
"We then made some changes to try and take steps backwards and move the car to a different place, and the car was worse than ever. So I think we really lost our way from Thursday."
So looks like the team effed up his setup and also his race with poor strategy...so any normal human being is allowed to he critical.
Every team and driver does the same.
And where did I ever give u that impression? Please don't put ur opinion as others. The way you described this, it looks like he piggybacked all his 7 titles with the team actually setting him the car without his opinion.... in the end of the day he himself underdelivered.
I was very surprised about their strategy too. To me it made sense to wait until after Gasly had pitted at least, and what they did made them look very poor. But of course hindsight is 20/20.
Can you link to it pls?, I’d like to read up on it. ThanksEdax wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 11:09 amI think you are right that there was an idea to extend the track on a land reclamation (portier cove). But if I look at the current construction plans it does not look like it can accommodate track.214270 wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 10:43 amStill haven’t caught up on the race; seems like I shouldn’t even bother.
I believe I read a few years ago there was a substantial reclamation project in prelim at Monaco? I don’t know whether that’s been shelved or not as there was a possibility of extending the track into new areas which might save racing at this venue. Short of a complete revamp of the weekend, I don’t see how else to save the Monaco GP.

“Let me tell you this: I come from a not-great place in Stevenage and lived on a couch in my dad’s apartment and Nico grew up in Monaco with jets and hotels and boats and all these kind of things, so the hunger is different," said Hamilton.
Haha brilliant, that'll do it.
Perfect!
I wasn't referring to facts, I was referring to how you phrased/wrote your response.jjn9128 wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 12:25 pmI know we’re in the age of “my truth” but I can pull up a quote
