No night race at Malaysia

The organisers of the Malaysian Grand Prix have no intention to change their race into a night race. Although Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone wants to expand the night race concept to other races, Malaysia will simply delay the start of their race instead of turning the event into a night race.

Datuk Mokhzani Mahathir, Boss of the Sepang International Circuit, declared to the Malaysian newspaper 'The Star': "It will still be daylight and about 7pm when the new race finishes and for fans in Europe and Britain, it would be about 10am. We are not going to lose out."
