Honda test own pit light system

After the Scuderia Ferrari decided to no longer use their controversial pit stop light system, the Honda Racing F1 Team started evaluating it's own system. Team Principal Ross Brawn, former Ferrari, is convinced that the system can be safer than the traditional lollipop.

The team used the light system for the very first time during pit stop practice on Thursday and are considering to use it during the Chinese and Brazilian Friday.

If the test is satisfactory, the team will introduce the pit stop light system during the 2009 Grands Prix.
