Representatives of the federal, Quebec and municipal governments are to meet with Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone to get the Canadian Grand Prix back on the 2009 calendar. Earlier this week, after the World Motor Sport Council, the FIA published a revised calendar without the race at the Gilles Villeneuve circuit and this due to a commercial disagreement with the organisers of the event.

The mayor of Montreal, Mr. Tremblay said: "What we will be discussing is a business deal. If we do nothing, it is gone."
