Felipe can leave that race with his head up - Schumi
Seven-times World Champion Michael Schumacher was, just like every other Formula One fan, overwhelmed by the exciting season finale at Interlagos yesterday. Although he didn't see his former team mate snatch the title, he enjoyed the thrilling battle until the end.
Schumi said: "What a finale. I am still overwhelmed from the race yesterday. I have never seen anything like this, not as a racer and not as a spectator - you can probably only say it was fate.
"I congratulate Lewis Hamilton and I am sending very warm greetings to Felipe and all our guys in Brazil. Felipe can leave that race with his head up, as with this performance he surely has convinced all the people who still had doubts about his driving skills. He will for sure attack again next year."
