BMW Sauber F1 Team driver Nick Heidfeld looks forward to driving with the new KERS technology during the 2009 season. Heidfeld drove the team's early version of the Kinetic Energy Recovery System during the Barcelona test session this week.

Heidfeld stated to newspaper 'Express': "There are still many things to sort out, but when I press the boost button, I can already notice a huge difference. It should be very helpful."

It is believed that the KERS device of the BMW Sauber F1 Team already delivers an additional 80 horse power with every push on the button.
