Realistic expectations for Buemi in debut season

The newly announced Scuderia Toro Rosso race driver Sebastien Buemi is not expecting unrealistic results in his rookie Formula One season. He is joining the pinnacle of motorsports after finishing runner up in the 2008 GP2 season, and is replacing the RBR bound Sebastien Vettel, who won the 2008 Italian GP with STR, a tough feat to repeat for the incoming Swiss.

Buemi told the STR website: "You have to be realistic. But you have to keep your feet on the ground and not get depressed if the results don't come immediately.

"Before we see where everyone is in the Australian Grand Prix, it is hard to set targets, as there might be some early season surprises. For me personally, I would at least want to be quicker than my teammate."
