Coulthard to be Red Bull's third driver in first races of 2009

David Coulthard, who retired from Formula One at the end of the 2008 season and who will return to the paddock as commentator for the BBC, could be called up for a comeback behind the wheel of the Red Bull Racing car if Mark Webber or Sebastian Vettel would be unable to race during the first Grands Prix weekends of the upcoming season.

Brandon Hartley, who would get a contract as the team's test and reserve driver for the 2009 season, is still waiting for his mandatory superlicense. Red Bull hopes that the paperwork will be sorted out in the next few weeks, but for now they will count on Coulthard as reserve driver.
