Rosberg tops first session at Melbourne

Today, the 2009 Formula One World Champion season finally kicked off with the first free practice session of the Australian Grand Prix. During a session with no real incidents, besides the fact that the Red Bull of Sebastian Vettel stopped on track with a hydraulic problem, Williams F1 driver Nico Rosberg was the fastest man on track followed by team mate Kazuki Nakajima and Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen.
It appears that the teams who got permission to race their 'controversial' diffusers are really gaining advantage of this. Only Toyota is a bit behind as Glock and Trulli finished the session in 8th and 12th position.
