Hamilton dominates final practice

By on

Lewis Hamilton was untouchable today in the final free practice session for the German Grand Prix. He led all the way through the session by a clear margin and only Alonso and Massa in the end could come within 0.25s of his time.

Early on in the session, Lewis Hamilton took the lead, clearly benefiting from the new aerodynamic parts that his teammate is still lacking at the moment.

The chilly weather again seemingly puts the Brawns in a difficult position. After Silverstone's early weekend problems for Button, he was again struggling through the session and frenquently locking up his front tyres.

While Hamilton remained untouched, Alonso improved last-minute to second place, ahead of Massa and both Red Bull cars. It surely is an interesting plot to see a McLaren and a Renault fastest in this free practice.
