Mild Seven Renault's technical director Bob Bell claims that his drivers Fernando Alonso and Giancarlo Fisichella will be disapointed with the power of the new V8 which will be run in 2006 compared with last years V10.

With a change in the rules next year regarding the new engine specifications Bob Bell renaults technical director claims that the drivers will be disapointed with the power of the engine with that of the power which was created from the V10 that was ran in 2005.

Bob Bell "I expect them to be pretty disappointed on the first runs. They are racing drivers, after all, so they like power and speed! Although I am sure the cars will initially feel underpowered, they will soon get used to it, and start honing their driving styles to get the most from the new tyres, to adapt to the revised downforce levels and understand how the power loss affects the overall performance over a lap."
