Schumacher displeased with supposed intentional blocking during qualifying

Michael Schumacher has supposedly spoken to FIA race director, Charlie Whiting, for clarification over supposed intentional blockings during Saturdays qualifying session, where Fernando Alonso was on a slow lap before returing to the pits and the Mercedes driver on a hot lap. The problem arose when Schumacher thought that Alonso intentionally blocked him, and perhaps acting on team orders.

Speaking to the media on Saturday, Schumacher said about the incident involving Alonso, "If you sit behind, you are trying your best, which I am doing at the moment, and then somebody slows you down, it is not very comfortable. Basically on my last try, I was slowed down by him. I asked him whether the team had told him and he said no."

The quick conversation between the two took part right after the two parked their cars, with Schumacher crouching over to speak with the Spaniard while he was still in the car.

The German also had this to say about a similar encounter with Lewis Hamilton, "He was adapting his lap and preparing his lap and blocking me in a way – which is not very nice."

"We had this chat yesterday in the drivers' briefing that this should be taken care of, and actually he [Alonso] was one of the main guys asking about it. Then I had a conversation with Charlie [Whiting] about it because I wanted to know what are the guidelines here, and whether the rules have changed a little bit to what they used to be."

Perhaps the seven time world champion should realize that encountering slower traffic in qualifying is a normal occurrence for everyone?
