Just like many other teams, Williams F1 continues its tests in preparation of the new season. The new gearbox and engine were tested extensively and the team will, unlike others continue tomorrow. Alex Wurz and Nico Rosberg drove the cars around the circuit and were satisfied by the advancements made.

Sam Michael, Technical Director, WilliamsF1 Team: “Today, Nico and Alex put further mileage on the 2006 gearbox and engine to improve
reliability in time for the start of the race season. At the same time, they worked through
various aerodynamic and electronic set-up changes and completed long runs for
Bridgestone on different tyre constructions and compounds.”
