Marussia have confirmed that they have finally concluded a deal with Formula One World Championship, the commercial rights holder of Formula One. Marussia was the last team to do so for 2014.

The team's Chief Executive Officer, Greame Lowdon, confirmed the news on Friday at the Indian Grand Prix.

"I'm very happy to confirm that we have finally concluded an agreement with the commercial right holder. It has indeed taken us a while but it's good news for the team that we now can move on."

He continued that it's actually an important item in order for the team to be able to search sponsors as it assures partners of the team's future in F1. A deal seals, among other things, the fees to pay for using F1 material and makes sure the competitor receives a part of the television money.

Marussia, currently tenth in the constructors' championship has been the only team for a while to not have a deal yet for 2014.
