MotoGP: Würth becomes official MotoGP tool supplier

On the back of the record-breaking French Grand Prix at Le Mans, MotoGP announced a new official tool supplier, with the Würth Group having joined the premier motorcycle series.
Würth’s new role in MotoGP marks another milestone in its strategy, expanding its longstanding presence in motorsport to the very pinnacle of two wheels. The group is the global market leader in the development, production, and sale of assembly and fastening materials.
Würth will equip MotoGP’s technical teams with high-quality Würth tools, able to perform in extreme conditions and ensure absolute precision, efficiency and safety in the paddock and pitlane.
“At the end of the day, in motorsports, like in the trades, it’s about every detail: speed, experience and perfectly tuned processes are the key to success,” says Fritz Hollweck, Head of Sports Sponsorship at Würth.
“This ambition is precisely what we share with MotoGP. Both brands stand for top-notch technical excellence, passion and teamwork.”
The commercial rights holder of MotoGP, Dorna Sports, underlines the strategic value of the cooperation: “Würth matches our ambition and values,” says Marc Saurina, Head of Global Commercial Partnerships.
“In Würth, we win a global partner that supports our teams with first-class tools, as well as new impetus in some of our strongest markets.”
MotoGP has confirmed that Würth will enjoy a prominent position at Grands Prix in Italy, Spain, and Indonesia, with branding along the circuit, in hospitality areas, and in digital spaces.
