Tsunoda is "tired of starting" from the back of the grid after another disappointing

On the back of another disappointing qualifying session, Red Bull driver Yuki Tsunoda reckoned that the result is "really frustrating" and he is "really tired of starting" from the back of the grid.

Although Max Verstappen wasn’t quite able to take the top spot across practice, he looked fairly competitive in the third and final practice on Satuday.

However, the Dutchman was unable to challenge for top places in qualifying, complaining about the overall balance of his RB21. In Q3, the reigning champion appeared to be in contention for P5 on the grid, but he was forced to abort his final flying lap due to yellow flags brought out for a spin by Pierre Gasly.

His team-mate Yuki Tsunoda endured even worse fortunes on Red Bull's home circuit. The Japanese driver looked competitive across the practice sessions, but his pace faded in qualifying which saw him end up 18th on the grid.

Having suffered a Q1 exit, Tsunoda explained: “Really frustrating. I'm really tired of starting with a P18 or P19. I was expecting at least Q3 today.

"I know this car feels good and, just first push already felt really good as well. So, yeah, just somehow, I guess, with this kind of stage that I'm in, I'm happy with the confidence and I'm sure I'm in the right direction in terms of how I'm approaching it and progress.

Explaining his struggled with Red Bull's F1 car, the Japanese driver reckoned: "But still, I think, with this kind of very narrow window car, you just want to have [a] consistent car as much as possible.

"And, obviously, I guess Max [Verstappen] kind of reported the same in Q2, but at least he knows about this car, how to handle it," concluded Tsunoda.
