Norris will "review things" after losing potential victory at Spa

Having lost a potential victory at Spa-Francorchamps despite starting from pole position, McLaren driver Lando Norris conceded that he wants to "review things" after the Belgian Grand Prix.
Championship leader Oscar Piastri endured disappointment when he got beaten by his team-mate Lando Norris in the standard qualifying session on Sunday.
However, the 24-year-old managed to make up for the defeat on the opening lap of the Belgian Grand Prix. Piastri got a better run than his team mate through the complex of Eau Rouge and Raidillon, allowing him to then make the move on the Kemmel straight.
As drivers switched from intermediates to slick tyres, Piastri enjoyed priority, pitting a lap earlier than Norris which allowed him to build up a margin of over eight seconds.
Although the Briton looked very competitive and comfortable in the closing stages of the 44-lap race on his hard Pirelli tyres, Piastri did not allow to slip the victory through his fingers.
Asked how his team-mate Piastri managed to pick him off on the opening lap, Norris stressed that the slipstream played a vital role.
"I mean Oscar just did a good job. Nothing more to say. Committed a bit more through Eau Rouge and had a slipstream and got the run. Nothing to complain of.
"He did a better job in the beginning and that was it. Nothing more I could do after that point. I would love to be up top but Oscar deserved it today.
"It’s ‘shoulda, woulda, coulda’, so I’m not going to… Oscar deserved it. I’m sure he made a couple mistakes. So if he drove a perfect race… I couldn’t have won today.
"I’ll review my things, but I’m so happy for the team. Another one-two. I think our first one-two here for many, many years. Nice to bring that back to the team. A well-deserved result for them and for Oscar too."
With the Hungaroring set to play host to the next round this weekend, Norris is hopeful to bounce back on a track which played an important role in his career.
"Budapest is one of the best ones for me in terms of what I've done there in the past years and it's where I started my Formula 1 career. Always good memories.
"Normally one that suits me a bit better than Spa. Happy with today. Slightly disappointed but looking forward to next week," Norris concluded.
