Hamilton will be in F1 - Dennis

According to McLaren's team boss Ron Dennis it is not the question if Lewis Hamilton will enter Formula One but rather the question when the young gun will enter Formula One. Hamilton does really well in the GP2 and this weekend, Dennis' protegé took the pole at Monaco.

Ron Dennis declared in Monaco: "He will be in Formula One, there's no question of that. And I'll be delighted to see him succeed because it was more an experiment than an investment."

At the end of the season, Fernando Alonso moves to McLaren and who will take the second race seat is still not clear, so it would be possible that Hamilton makes his F1 debut in 2007. Flavio Briatore of the Renault F1 Team also mentioned Hamilton as a possibility for next season. Ron Dennis said: "Obviously our own driver line-up is still open in respect of one of the two seats. Many people ask is there any possibility of Hamilton driving? Well, it's not impossible but it's just one of the options. We don't know whether either of the drivers will stay with us or go, it's just too early in the season to make those sort of decisions. When we have to take a decision, we will."

There are a lot of drivers who need to find a new contract for next season and some of them will have to hurry up if they want to find a race seat next year, since there is so many young talent (Kovalainen, Kubica, Hamilton) waiting to enter F1 next season.
