The team's second day of testing ran smoothly at the Paul Ricard circuit in France today. Under less windy conditions, Alex Wurz took over testing responsibilities from team mate Nico Rosberg and completed 106 laps of the 3.593km circuit, a total of 419kms. Alex's quickest lap of the Monaco-based track was a 1:06.576, putting him 8th on the day's time sheet.

Dickie Stanford, Test Team Manager, AT&T Williams “We had much better weather in Ricard today. Alex Wurz took over from Nico and spent the session finishing the Monaco set-up programme. Tomorrow, the circuit will be modified to reflect the Montreal track layout and we will be converting the car accordingly this evening so we can work on preparation for the race there. Alex will be on duty again.”
