Next to Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica, Timo Glock and Sebastian Vettel will also battle for points and more victories in their respective race series at the Monaco Grand Prix event. For the first time in the 2007 Formula One season, all four drivers of the BMW Sauber F1 Team will compete within the same race weekend. Next to GP drivers Nick and Robert, who are determined to defend fourth place in the Constructors' Championship, the two test drivers have also travelled to the Principality.

Sebastian Vettel will enter his race in Monaco as the current leader of the World Series by Renault. After four races, the talented young gun is 10 points ahead of runner-up Alvaro Parente in the drivers' standings. Sebastian is hoping for a good position on the starting grid for the race at the demanding street circuit. He comments: "I believe the qualifying session is the most important part of the whole weekend."

"We don't have much time to practice and simply have to take pole position in Monaco," adds Sebastian. "It's very difficult to overtake during the race, particularly since our car is so big. The exit of the tunnel down at the harbour is the only place where you might be able to overtake. It's going to be tough but I'm already looking forward to it."

On Saturday, Timo will race in the fifth round of the GP2 series as the leader of the drivers' classification as well. Even before the start of the race, the German driver is safe in the knowledge that he will stay ahead in the championship following the Monaco event. Unlike on other race weekends of the series, there will only be one GP2 race in Monaco. After four races Timo is currently 13 points ahead of second-placed driver Bruno Senna.
