Rosberg extends contract with Williams

Nico Rosberg has signed a new two-year contract with the Williams F1 Team. This finally puts a stop to the speculations that the young German would move to McLaren to replace Fernando Alonso. Rosberg will team up with Kazuki Nakajima during the 2008 season.

Rosberg said to the German newspaper 'Bild': "Williams has made me an attractive, far better offer with a new contract up to the end of 2009 and I decided to accept it. For Williams, the question of letting me go never came up."
