Nelson Piquet Jr. declared yesterday during the launch event of the new R28 that he does not expect any driver problems this season. Fernando Alonso rejoined the French outfit after a year at McLaren where he had nothing but trouble with Ron Dennis and Lewis Hamilton. Nelsinho is convinced that this kind of situation is not possible at Renault due to the good guidance of Flavio Briatore.
Nelson Piquet Jr., who will make his F1 debut at the Australian GP, said: "I don't know for sure, but I think one of the problems was their team boss not being able to control the drivers," referred Nelsinho to the McLaren situation.
"I think Flavio is perfect at knowing how to put the drivers in their own place and knowing how to talk to us and tell us how to focus on the right things. So I don't think we will have a problem. I think Flavio won't allow it."
