Major aero update for Ferrari at Barcelona

It appears that Ferrari is set to introduce a major aerodynamic update at the Barcelona test session that will take place from 25-27 February. This was confirmed by Luca Baldisserri, Team Manager at Ferrari, in the Italian newspaper 'Gazzetta dello Sport'.

The major update will include wings, bargeboards and a new engine cover. During the test session at Sakhir this week, the F2008 proved to be even faster than last season's F2007 as Kimi Raikkonen beat the track record while conducting race simulations.

Luca Balidsserri declared about the new aero updates: "It's true that the aerodynamics used here (at Bahrain) is not the definitive one for the first GP. But, having seen the results, it's not a given that what we will try at Montmelo, in the last tests before Australia, will bring better performance."
