Rossi stays on his motorcycle

The wave of rumours about Valentino Rossi moving to Ferrari to drive in Formula One is still standing. The Moto GP star has stated that he will not be driving the Ferrari any more during the 2005 season.

Rossi is obviously busy with his championship chase in Moto GP, but its clear that he may not want to drive a Ferrari at all.

Valentino Rossi "For me, it's a lot of bullshit. For sure, I don't have time to do a lot of tests in the Ferrari. I don't know if I go to the car, maybe yes, but maybe no.
Speaking about F1 tests for me is like speaking in ten years. I don't know what I do next week. I am in MotoGP, I'm here to win. Maybe Ferrari need to speak with me because I know I haven't made any decision yet. Maybe I never race in formula one."

Ferrari team principal Jean Todt also mentioned that they would probably allow Rossi to test some more next season if he wishes to, but that they will not insist on that. He also hinted that an F1 racing career is very unlikely for Rossi, however his team will make notice if there are any signs of him being a capable F1 driver.
