Lewis won't score points IMO. The fp3 long run was woeful and now not even a good starting position. With Perez and potentially Sainz behind I could see him going backwards rather than forwards.

3rd Q2 elim for Lewis this year, his performance is a bit more variable than russell it seems
Another --- prediction
It was not looking great before the last safety car. He cut his own tire on Piastri.

Congrats to Mercedes team, they got Max the win today by demanding the penalty for Sainz, well done Toto, well done! =D> =D> =D> I love how it bites him back every time he whines and bemoans
How about you stop crying and make a better car?

You do know none of that has any slightest connection to reality. Not sure why you keep repeating something that has nothing to do with Toto.

I think Lewis will end up ahead of Russell and around the podium honestly. This race will be chaos
Wonder what it would've been without the puncture.
Probably P4

Before the incident with Piastri, he was ahead of Perez !

He is trying to blame every --- performance of Ferrari on mercedes, he is just sad that Ferrari never won a title even with superior cars for 15 years.
Last year the failed another title with the fastest car and this year again can't make a title winning car

Lewis would have gotten at least a podium for sure, he dropped to 14th, got back up to 6th? iirc then got a puncture, dropped to 19th and then back up again to 8th (with quite a lot of them being overtakes) before Russell's penalty

Yes, he was ahead of Perez so probably would've fight for the podium.

On another note. Ferrari is now 4pts behind in the WCC.

Surprisingly this track provides such a good race. What could have been for Merc, definitely didn't maximize the results today. Frustrating.

Both drivers very clumsy as has been the case since Monza really.

I don't think Lewis is at fault on the Piastri incident, and he was hit at the start... So I think he did a pretty decent job to recover from this
Russell it's more questionable imo on the incident

Yea i dont think Ham is to blame for the puncture, things happen, but he really does need to improve his quali, would have been in such a great position to potentially win today if he was right up there with George

George hasn't beat Hamilton since.. Monza (I exclude the DNF in Qatar).
This fight for P2 in the WCC shouldn't happen if he had score more
He's 72 pts off Lewis

Regarding Lewis poor qualy form, I don't what to think about it, he knows how to qualify well ? Is it tyre temp related ?
But nevertheless starting P10 today wasn't a bad spot.

i will say today has got to be very encouraging for Merc. A lot of people, myself included thought they'd be miles off on a track like this with mostly long straights, but they were catching and passing cars while they also had drs open, their deg was really good while also running a very low downforce wing, bono commented a few times about just how good Lewis was managing the tires. New floor direction seems to be working for them well

Yeah me too. I thought they'd lose one second with the main straight here, but with the low df wing they were among the fastest cars in the straights. But it also had to do with the cooler temperatures allowing them to run the PU harder than normal. Looked like the third best car, with not much separating them from Ferrari.
