Quite embarrassing. I would take the extra WT time though.
I have a better option: make it a two-sprint weekend first one 12 second one 15 points.OverheatedTurbo wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 16:53They have two options really:
1) Remove it from the calendar/make it rotational.
2) Reduce the car’s size. (They did, but I don’t think it will be enough.
Not bad. Or a full race with zero pitstops. It would be so funny.maygun wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 17:03I have a better option: make it a two-sprint weekend first one 12 second one 15 points.OverheatedTurbo wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 16:53They have two options really:

Friday: FP1, Quali1,
Saturday: Sprint 1 (~30 laps no pitstop), Quali2
Sunday Sprint 2 (~40 laps, one pitstop)
Its sad I hope they do decent in Spa because I am going there to see them live.SB15 wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 17:23Man I knew this weekend was going to be a struggle, but I never would've imagined it would be anywhere near this bad.
It could be a disaster from the strategist, or it could've been a compromised race because of quali yesterday, it could've simply been bad luck?
Whatever the cause, I don't know what Mercedes did for them to have these results in back-to-back weekends and just flat out cursed them.
I think the cause is pretty obvious. Can't qualify P14-15 and expect good results in Monaco.SB15 wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 17:23Man I knew this weekend was going to be a struggle, but I never would've imagined it would be anywhere near this bad.

uhh... oh god, it looks like it's true or is it a cop out because of how massively they were caught out waiting for something significant?OverheatedTurbo wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 17:32Toto just said that they forgot that the race was a mandatory two stopper…WHAT THE HELL?
Edit: I don’t know if this is true, but it’s been circulating in x. I hope it’s not true.
I guess that's what having 2 good drivers and building a car that 2 drivers can drive confidently looks like! But I would love to see McLaren having a dominant car for the whole season. Would be good for F1 to see different teams building dominant cars, different years.Cs98 wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 17:57#totallynotdominant
It's 2023 all over again. After 8 rounds.
