Overheatedturbo is really not happy.
I for one have given up, this season, predictions, hoping, maybe even this team… idk.
Merc is slow at Silverstone? Nope, can’t do this anymore.
I’m expecting a tough rest of the weekend.
I am not. Apologies to everyone here on the Merc forum. It’s just that it baffles me that they can’t get to grips with this tyre/front/rear axle overheating at this stage of the regs. They are missing some expertise that they may have lost over the years in that area. Toto needs to recruit more technical personnel for that area of the car. They risk of bringing that issue to the W17.
Really the car is extremely sensitive to any significant temperature change, and only works on certain types of tracks when it’s low traction and power sensitive, that displays a major flaw in the aerodynamic department and also the mechanical department because of how numb it feels in the highspeed which I don’t know why?
The Ground Effect era was a massive failure both in itself and for Mercedes. No matter what they tried, it just doesn’t work.
