The whole comparison will basically boil down to tyre management with the W01.
Schumacher hasnt been totally outclassed and nor has Rosberg.
Both are dealing with a car that is fast, but consumes its tyres too quickly.
Around Monaco you could see the hustle style Schumacher prefers to smooth driving was still there for all to see. Its no co-incidence he outdrove Rosberg that day either.
People can bang on about cars being the same etc, but the characteristics of the cars will certainly suit one over the other.
But the fact remains the car both these drivers use, has a fundamental tyre issue that cannot be resolved by updates or wheel base extensions.
Also, what does a 41 year old 7 time champ need to do in his first 9 races after 3 years out that a 1 time world champ in his prime couldn't last year?
Because Lewis was blitzing everyone last year in the first 9 races right???
