Not realy. Flow-wise ether you use or not. Hot gasses are there. If they would use bigger black pannels, marks wouldnt be seen. Yes I have to say I have been thinking the same thing, however; would that also explain the burnt bit almost at floor level? What with changes from the normal to duck/whatever nose, wouldn't the airflow/characterstics differ? So was wondering if it's like comparing apples vs oranges?
