Just utilize the existing hydraulic system on board to power it, job done. could also be handy if you get stuck in the gravel traps.PhillipM wrote:There's no room or weight available to pack a jack in the car, and connecting the lines would take longer than the front jack.
Apologies. I will keep the rumours to my self from now on.mx_tifoso wrote:I've simply deleted the bs about lottery numbers, special abilities, etc. If you don't have anything legitimate to ask or say about the car, keep it to yourself. That would be quite illegal.jason.parker.86 wrote:Just utilize the existing hydraulic system on board to power it, job done. could also be handy if you get stuck in the gravel traps.PhillipM wrote:There's no room or weight available to pack a jack in the car, and connecting the lines would take longer than the front jack.
How unexpected...McMrocks wrote:no stepped nose: http://f1zoom.co.cc/?year=2012&race=GB& ... 648&view=1
Why would this be unexpected? The updates (at least some of them aero-wise) are sitting in the paddock waiting to be evaluated, but they aren't going to waste their time trying to do that on a soaking wet race track. Yup its the sameCjC wrote:Did he mention the benefits?Crucial_Xtreme wrote:McLaren has brought the adjustable brake duct setup to the front bakes in Silverstone. via Ted Kravitz.
Also Is it a solution Ferrari and red bull hav been using for many races now?
i don't think that they bring a stepped nose. The stepped nose is made to build a higher chassis, but McLaren is running the old chassis and i think it is not enough time to change the chassis.otbsti wrote:Well, they have the stepped nose front wing sitting in the garage (there are pictures of it), so they have either changed the chassis and it works with either style nose, or they are doing their version of a stepped nose that doesn't require a chassis change. Evidently it's not very clear at this point.
Yeah, the vortex generators on the sidepod were the last visual upgrade.
