Do you, really? Even if he did, how about he gained by keeping the car on the track later at higher speed as opposed to correcting it and slowing or even losing it? Assuming it's not allowed.Mika1 wrote:Actually I think he lost time there.
I think Vettel and Grosjean would disagree.Helios wrote:It's not a biggie...
Nah man, when your god does something like this it's not a biggie, no, he actually lost time for cutting a corner more than usual (if that makes any sense).Mika1 wrote:Actually I think he lost time there.
Well, I would find it quite harsh too if he got a penalty for it.Poleman wrote:Can't believe how people always find something to argue upon...He got wide about how 4 inches (?) in a wet eau rouge gaining how much? I doubt if this wasn't the pole lap that anyone would even try and bother to spot that.Vettel was constantly doing it in the past years,Alonso, etc. Seems that the 4 week break still has its leftovers.
All in all it was a very entertaining Qualifying session surely the one that u expect from Spa to deliver. The race should be interesting.
Haha, frustrated man? This is nothing special, other drivers did the same (Massa).stefan_ wrote:Nah man, when your god does something like this it's not a biggie, no, he actually lost time for cutting a corner more than usual (if that makes any sense).Mika1 wrote:Actually I think he lost time there.
Would be harsh if the stewards picked that up, while not picking up this one by Vettel (not that he gained anything, but as you said, at least 2 wheels must be within the white lines)tim|away wrote:You have to have at least two wheels on the track (i.e. on the inside of the white line) which Lewis clearly didn't.
I am not sure why this wasn't being picked up by the stewards. Either they genuinely missed it or a lot of other drivers took Eau Rouge in a similar way on their fastest lap and it was decided the race would benefit if 5-10 drivers were not being given a grid penalty.
Wow, how mad are you at Romain Grosjean sucking at finishing races without being penalized or crashing someone out?stefan_ wrote:Nah man, when your god does something like this it's not a biggie, no, he actually lost time for cutting a corner more than usual (if that makes any sense).Mika1 wrote:Actually I think he lost time there.
Its common, and in many ways natural.stefan_ wrote:It's not about the gains (which if it was it was a very small one and didn't make the difference between pole or not), it's about some people's attitude.
The rule of the 4 wheel of the track was made after hockenheimHelios wrote:Would be harsh if the stewards picked that up, while not picking up this one by Vettel (not that he gained anything, but as you said, at least 2 wheels must be within the white lines)tim|away wrote:You have to have at least two wheels on the track (i.e. on the inside of the white line) which Lewis clearly didn't.
