Not to start another rake debate but if you look at this the bottom of the diffuser looks to be inline with the wheel rim.

Also there are mclarenesque thin finned louvers attached to the crash structure just above the diffuser, easily visible as they look to be metallic.
I did a comparison picture of W05 and RB10..
I´ve added the Ferrari for you guys:

New rear brake duct winglest today. They were straight before, these curve upwards and then flatten back out:

It may not bring the expected performance.

Not sure why this would get a +1, the Ferrari is clearly smaller in the picture and therefor this comparison is not useful..

Slightly different double gurney tab arrangement too.

This one has be a bit puzzled. They ran a different rear wing flap with a straight trailing edge and no Gurney flap:

Why is that puzzling?

Hi, am I wrong or this exhaust/rear wing flow looks pretty decent?

Image

Does the exhaust flow turn upwards quite sharply right over the rear crash structure? :?:

I'm sure the aerodynamics experts here will know best!!

PS: Did Ferrari return to the "slim" exhaust-engine cover from the bulged one used by Raikonen yesterday?, Or is it a new "intermediate" one?

Running with no Gurney flap. And notice how the trailing edge is lower than the endplates. They were probably just testing something, I don't expect to see that configuration race trim.

Might have been a low drag variant, no?

I belive they just remove gurney rest of the wing is of course the same. :?: So anyway i are with beelsebob that is just some sort unusual testing.

It is strange beacuse the gurney help wing to prevend detacment of the flow when is car during yaw and pich.

What's wrong with running no gurney tab?

Remember, the entire point of a gurney tab is that it's a quick hack that can be added to the back of a wing to increase it's downforce in an emergency. They are explicitly things that are meant to be easily removable. The norm is to run without them.

Whole flap is different. If they had just removed the gurney there still would be two V cuts on the flap
