Ferrari F14T

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Is this the same solution that Williams were using last year?

Looks like. The only difference is the new wheel lock, which is now mandatory. But this is not yet mounted in the picture.

The car threads are for a specific hardware part of the car, not about how much money the teams relatively spend or general team problems or 3D CAD models.

Hard to be 100% sure, but the nose looks narrower and taller in this shot:

I believe it is the perspective, at least for the narrowness.. Although I don't believe it's higher anyway

I don't think it could be higher unless a Merc solution was adopted

Re: Ferrari F14T

Does the amount of effort and money that Merc have spent getting their new nose through the crash tests highlight the flawed design of the F14Ts nose. The concept of the two teams are closer than any other but the application is totally different. Merc have gone to huge lengths to remove any body work from above the front wing whilst Ferrari have the most "blocked" nose of all it seems.
Can anyone render a n F14T with the latest Merc nose?
