Lewis Hamilton has won the British Grand Prix, his home race held at Silverstone, inheriting the lead of Nico Rosberg following his gearbox failure. Valtteri Bottas is on the podium again in second place while Daniel Ricciardo completes the podium in third.

The moaning of Alonso and Vettel was ridiculous at one point. They should have tell them on the radio just to shut up and put their foot down god damn it, they're racing drivers.

Rosberg had issues, but they were issues that were the same as Hamilton's, and were only manageable because of the warning that Hamilton's failing earlier gave. Hamilton's car has failed resulting in dropping out of the race twice now, Rosberg's has failed with that result only once. Basically, Alonso is saying that Vettel gained lasting advantage by going off the track.
Of note, Vettel also went off the track at Copse immediately after finishing the move.
I think Ferrari may have a fairly strong argument if they visit the stewards that Vettel only got past because he went off the track twice.
I'm a hamilton fan. But looking at the picture painted thus far, the shock from a super fast rookie, coupled with mclaren being a homeground for the "new boy", served to unnerve Alonso. Hamilton's stock is well known now and so there'll be pressure on both.
