So chances are that the race will be shorter than qualifying.....not very often that happens!!
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

For the record, Hamilton was evenly lucky today, that he made it into Q3 at all.

Replay did show he lifted, but maybe not enough of a lift considering it was double waved yellows.

Are you talking about that moment when he went off but didn't crash his car in Q1, or when he was P10 in Q2?

If he lifted he´s clear from any penalty though. Regardless of how fast his S2 was.

Let us all pray for a clean start tomorrow. I hope Nico goes into T1 with the lead an Ham follows. That's the only way we'll get a proper race between them, will really test Nico's ability under massive pressure. which I'm keen to see as there's still a big question mark for me there.

In the repetition by Sky it shows that he slow down, even Brundle who is pro Hamilton recognise it. It is the second time Ros takes pole from Ham for not quitting and pushing until the end.

He did, one screen with double waved yellow and it didn't look like he slowed down at all. Maybe a half assed lift for half a second or something. Have to see his other laps to compare really.

Hamilton wasn't supremely lucky, squeezed into q3, but still didn't get pole. I suppose it balances out in a cruel sort of way.

Alonso has been making a lot of mistakes lately, he could have started ahead of Sainz.

There also was clearly no actual issue in the yellow sector, as Alonso was already back on track and going normally when Nico caught him.

Depends. Double waved yellows means slow and be prepared to stop.... do simply lifting might not be enough.

Personally I hope they let his time stand. Fed up of stewards affecting results.

Hamilton couldn't have done that, there was a car sitting sideways at the corner exit with the nose still inside the track limits when he arrived...
