Let's put the facts down:
-Pirelli rates the supersoft at 9 laps
- 9 is a lower number than 11
-For your suggestion to work, Hamilton needed to be more than 3 seconds a lap faster
-Tyres have wear
-The softer tires wear quicker than harder tires.
-Worn tires have less grip
-Hamiltons tires would have worn very much in between the 11 laps, as I'll say it once more as counting is difficult: 9 is less than 11
So yes, the fact is that it wouldn't have worked.
Oh, and you seem to think that just because something hasn't happened, your point is automatically true. Well, that's not the case. In fact, the fact that nobody did such a stint on the supersofts shows that it wouldn't have worked. Because yes, that's why they didn't run it, it doesn't work.
So while you seem to think that you are correct because something hasn't happened, the opposite is very much true. I'll say it again; Teams didn't do such a run on the supersoft, because it wouldn't have worked.
Oh, and I'll repeat this also once more:
9 is a lower number than 11.
