Please don't over exaggerate, just some glowing ignited carbon dust due to increased air content from wheel gun. Very common with carbon racing brakes.... if you pay attention to other cars, not just Mercedes Power Plus, you would have noticed many times before :o
That was not what was shown here in the states, actual flames where shown.

Just like Vettel made at the start and gave away the win !
Yes he "gifted" the win. Mercedes style.
If such are the starts the Ferrari are going to make, Mercedes can expect more such gifts.
Yes, But Merc will make strategy errors so at the end it will balance out, But Ferrari needs to improve! absolutely!

was the car overheating during Q also? come on. I'm not trolling
Was he following a car in QF? Answer: No he wasnt. Hint: i am referring only to the 1st stint when he was following Kimi at a gap 1.5 to 4 seconds. Once he started to push again and close the gap, he was on the radio about managing engine temps.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

You saw what you want to see. Suggest look again in UHD

- Bottas beat 2 quicker cars, basically schooling them on pace before (and after) the tyres kicked in. Pitstop was too early. Told you, one lap and dry r. pace - strongest points (+ high speed stuff).

- Vettel lost the race in the clearly quickest car, from pole and front row lock-up. That's why they don't hire 2nd one with a pulse.

- How do those team orders look now Mercedes? Must be disappointing for Wolff who 'didn't think beating F. was possible' and looked sad in the process :D .

- You know now why tyre deg and differences between compounds aren't evil? I suggest pushing 100% for the answer.

Lol, if anyone is seeing what they want to see, its probably you, specially based on how you explained you like to spend part of race day.

As a side note, we don't get UHD broadcasts here in the states. So I'm limited to HD scaled up to fit my UHD tv.

Is the footage even filmed in UHD? Took F1 quite a while to even get FullHD... :D

The last one at Sochi, probably. Awful circuit.

There was some excitement in the first few laps, though.

Palmer is done, they can't get rid of him fast enough IMO. Bottas P1, really hope he converts it this time, he's been fast all weekend.
To be fair to Palmer, it was Grosjean who made a very overly optimistic move. Classic case of bad luck today for Palmer in my opinion.

Did anyone see any on track overtaking apart from the opening lap? it was a shocker, but not to worry with spain and monaco next we should see some overtaking...wait a minute #-o
