Mercedes a second up so far.
Kimi on his last lap was only 2/10th off but he was pushing so hard that he ended up leaving the track.

Am I the only one who finds that a major concern?

https://twitter.com/AlbertFabrega/statu ... 7634197504 Pretty much everything new for Mercedes in terms of power units.

Ferrari rumored to bring a new ICE tommorow.

Alonso has left the track and gone back to the Hotel.
His manger was apparently asked by SKY if he would be back for FP2 and the answer was 'I hope so'.

I think Alonso´s patience is reaching is limit and I can understan why. This situation is totally surreal.

I hope the difference between Mercedes and Ferrari is because the Italians are checking something...

In all fairness, I feel this is more down to dodgy assembly as the amount of oil leaked suggests a pipe coming completely loose, meaning the McLaren technicians are to blame for it.

He'll be back in time for FP2. If the repairments take too long, they'll just swap the whole PU for another, as they did in Russia.

What concerns you?
- Raikkonen's driving? New to F1  ? It has been a barrel of laughs, he didn't know where he was in Russia.
- gap to Merc is too big? (from Ferrari fan perspective)?
- gap to Merc is too small? (from Mercedes fan perspective)?

It's free practice. Ferrari gearbox must be Italian. I always enjoy when running a team like Ferrari do backfires.

That the Mercedes updates have fixed their issues and jumped them miles in front again.

It's not like it's only one of the drivers either. Seb isn't a second faster than Kimi (which he would need to be) the Mercedes drivers and Ferrari drivers are close enough to make it at least look like that's genuine pace. I just hope to god it isn't.

Sometimes(many times)Honda, sometimes McLaren but what happens with the team and in particular with Alonso´s car is hard to accept.

A driver leaving the track and playing tennis during a session isn't normal at all. It looks like Alonso just doesn't give a stuff anymore.

Can you blame him? If a nat farts to close to the car, it breaks down.

Oh I don't blame him at all. However one could say that he has walked into this problem after he 'managed' his exit from Ferrari.

No one on this planed could have expected such a disaster.
