Every time the new replays get shown and they play that new music with the 'revving engines' I hear that engine noise and expect to see some car going full throttle somewhere but no, it's just that god damn crappy new music and it's just another boring slow-mo.

It's just FP1, but Charles Leclerc is giving a hard time for Ericsson. For now... Mclaren doesn't look to be in a position to Forget the midfield and go after RB.

do you believe everything mclaren and alonso have said before? if you did then you should know what they said about thier chassis in comparsion with redbull. and now we can see the difference in chasis in comparision to redbull with the same engine. over 1 second slower.

They have to calibrate the engine every time they put a new one in. With it being new and FP1 I doubt they had it turned up all the way.

I don't know why you are repeating your self with all that Mclaren vs RB chassis nonsense.
All the statements About best chassis and up there with RB if same engine etc was about previous year cars.
PREVIOUS YEAR. I am sure you understand that , even if you are trying to play fool about it.
They never said "Best chassis" this year and in fact they said they had to postpone their big aero update.

No one really knows how close to RB they would be last year if they had same engine, and that includes you.

This year RB obviously is not just an evolution. Its a Revolution regarding last years design, and they Obviously did an amazing job with the chassis.
Mclaren has their own problems to solve and their own mountain to climb but they never said anything about having best chassis this year. They hope they can narrow the gap, but its just what they hope. No one said they will manage to do it.
At the end of the year you and all of us can judge them. But for now, each time you have to say something about Mclaren you are sounding just like another classic Mclaren hater with none sense arguments.

You may be right; Kimi’s soft run also set quite a bit before Vettel’s.

Strong so far from Ferrari though. They’re 1.5 seconds up on P2 last year which is a lot better than they were doing Oz.
